William D. Buseck, Director of Operations/Finance - Biography

Mr. Buseck received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Gannon College. He is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association School of Banking at Bucknell University and the American Bankers Association's Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware. Mr. Buseck also completed the Robert Morris Associates' Commercial Loans to Business/OMEGA Program and holds several certificates from the American Institute of Banking.

Mr. Buseck served as a member of the Board and past President (2008-2010) of the Pittsburgh chapter of the Risk Management Association, the international association of credit, operations, and market risk professionals. He is a member of the Board, Loan Review, and Executive Committees of the Regional Development Funding Corporation in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a private, non-profit corporation providing SBA504 and other financing to western Pennsylvania businesses.

Mr. Buseck is President of Mid America Business Brokers, Inc., an enterprise specializing in transitioning ownership of middle market companies. He is also a founding director and Director of Operations/Finance of Community Capital Development Corporation, a community development financial institution providing financing and technical assistance for minority, female, and other entrepreneurs.

William D. Buseck of Erie, Pennsylvania established a management consulting practice in 1995 in the field of corporate renewal serving clients in New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. Mr. Buseck specializes in crisis/turnaround management, viability analysis, financial structuring, and interim executive staffing. He also provides credit review and recovery services to financial institutions. Previously he held various positions in the banking industry, including Vice President & Group Manager Corporate Banking and Vice President Special Assets at PNC Bank.

In 2015, W.D. Buseck & Associates, Ltd. expanded its bank consulting practice with the acquisition of Avalon Financial Services, Ltd., formerly of Niles, Ohio, a provider of loan review, compliance review, fraud audits, management assessments, and expert testimony in banking litigation to the banking industry in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, West Virginia, and Kentucky.
